COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams Hefeweizen has a traditional spin on a classic American craft brewing style. This crisp, fruity wheat ale is cloudy, because the yeast has not been filtered out. Bavarian Spalt hops give the ale a crisp elegance, that is not bitter and leaves a clean aftertaste. Cheers!

At bbq, drank from bottle. Even with that nice banana aroma. Taste is wheat, bananas, a little more hop tang than usual for a hefeweizen. Not bad.

12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, best before 10/2017. Pours fairly hazy pale golden/yellow color with a 2 finger dense, creamy, and rocky white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, banana, bubblegum, clove, pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, apple, banana, bubblegum, clove, pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy hop bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, banana, bubblegum, clove, pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is a great hefeweizen! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the ABV, perfectly balanced yeast and malt flavors; with just enough bittering hops to balance. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a mildly murky light gold color with a small white head. The aroma has a lot of cloves in it with some banana and a little wheat. The taste matches the nose.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2017 Slightly hazy gold pour with a small white head. The aroma has light cloves and bananas with some herbs. It has a light body with crisp texture and lively carbonation. The taste is sweet with a long-lasting finish.

12 oz. bottle. AROMA: Scents of lemon, banana, hay, and caramel. APPEARANCE: Hazy and golden, with a tall, white, tight-froth head that dissipates slowly. TASTE: Moderately sweet with flavors of orange citrus, wheat, and spices. PALATE: Medium bodied with a slick texture. Average carbonation and a moderate finish. OVERALL: There’s really nothing special about this beer. It’s not bad and it’s not great. It’s a little on the sweet side, but not sticky sweet. And it’s easy to drink with a nice aroma.

Hazy golden hue with a fast dissipating bone white head. Semisweet nose with notes of caramelized wheat and light banana bread. Crisp mouthfeel with a medium body and a lot of the same flavor notes that were in the aroma; sweet caramelized wheat, a bit of banana bread, super gentle spices and a bready finish. Average and predictable, but enjoyable.

Lounge beer on draft Admirals Club JFK T8. Server didn’t know what the "Sam Adams Seasonal" was but this looks and tastes like a hefe. Cloudy variegated golden yellow color. Aroma of citrus bubblegum. Taste is lightly bitter spiced wheat and cutrus, light banana. Decent choice.
