COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the stout brewed by 18th century English brewers for the Russian Imperial Court of Catherine II. The special malted barley in this intense and massive brew delivers rich flavors like dark chocolate, coffee and anise.

Bottle, [email protected], Kolding. Pours deep opaque black with a large, staying creamy beige head. Aroma has ashy roasted malts, dark chocolate, light astringent. Low, prickly carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, licorice, chocolate, mild roasted malts, a touch of viniousness. Fine, mellow bitterness. Light ashy.

355 ml bottle from a Fakta discounter. Poured in to a Snifter. Pitch black with a creamy, tanned head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel malts, liquorice and spicy hints. Taste is sweet. Full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with roasted notes and chocolate. Lovely Stout. At just 13 DKK this is very hard to beat price-taste wise.
