Pours an opaque black color with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily. Clingy patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt and coffee. Medium to full body, with flavors of dark chocolate, coffee and sweet malt. Some mildly bitter hops are present too. The finish is dry and roasty with coffee and muted chocolate left behind. , Kolding. Pours deep opaque black with a large, staying creamy beige head. Aroma has ashy roasted malts, dark chocolate, light astringent. Low, prickly carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, licorice, chocolate, mild roasted malts, a touch of viniousness. Fine,mellow bitterness. Light ashy.

12oz bottle. Poured a dark black color with a large sized brown head. Nice lacing left on the glass. Aromas of chocolate, roastiness, anise, and licorice. Tastes of roast, chocolate, caramel, licorice, some dark fruitiness, and anise. Alcohol content well hidden.
