Pours an orange color.... Alcohol content evident in the aroma... Sweet fruity flavor with a crisp clean finish that attempts to conceal the high alcohol content, which it does fairly nicely... Definitely taste the alcohol, but for a 10% beer, very drinkable... DrBayern (1139) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - MAR 9, 2009
Bottle from CelticBrew, shared at our last tasting. Clear, almost brilliant orange with a rather spare white head. Light fruitiness on the nose, honey, and soft spice. Light to medium body, smooth, but the palate washes out quickly. This is fairly sweet, with little bitterness to balance. I was expecting something that was a little more crisp and refreshing. It was just too sweet. brewblackhole (1588) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 9, 2009
Monsterous ester and powerful alcohol, ester had more of a banana then an orange burst,it was all very powerful and quite aggressive. I like the sheer power of this. Taste is big and ballsy, with that huge more banana then orange peel and a big sumo flop of alcohol, didn’t really get the Wit element, the burps are pretty much alcohol. That big alcohol taste started beating you down towards the finish, but still this was quite an enjoyable brew experience. Never mind conforming to style, this was pleasant JaBier (7973) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - MAR 9, 2009
Sampled at the Sam Adams tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 3.5.09. Cloudy copper color with a thin off-white head. Malty aroma with citrus fruit, some yeast and a touch of booze. Creamy orange flavor with plenty of malt and an ever so slight burn in the finish. Interesting out of the box offering. Gmoney (442) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 9, 2009

golden orange with a mild head for the style. body is very thick for the style. flavor dominated by orange peal with a very prominent alcoholic warmth that detracts somewhat. an interesting style. nbutler11 (1267) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2009
Bonus bottle courtesy of weeheavysd. Definitely a Wit. Pours a hazy copper color with a faint beige head. Smells of orange rind, cream, and pepper. Has a consistency that makes me think there’s gelatin in the recipe. Tastes of heavy citrus and chewy caramel. Not bad for the style. WillieV (197) - Maryland, USA - MAR 9, 2009
12oz bottle: Poured a thick hazy brown color with no head. Scents of molasses, licorice and allspice some alcohol is present. Smooth fruity taste to it pretty close to a fruit beer. rocbyter (2124) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - MAR 8, 2009
