Good solid beer, could use a little more bite, but not too much. Good amber appearance, rich aroma, and hoppy taste, could leave a little more on the palate though.

Nice aroma, with the house hops of SA. A week head. A short taste.

I prized a bottle of this from a dusty corner of my favorite beer store, but was a touch disapointed. They went for balance and lost in the hops department. Still, a decent brew.

Amber. Sweet, hop dominated, rather malty, bitter. A little one-dimensional perhaps.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2004 Best before date Feb 2002, drank on 2/7/02: A slightly below average IPA. It is styled between a west coast and an English IPA, but lacks the finer points of either.

I like this beer. It could stand a little more bite though. Its a little bland.

A very strange apricotty/ citrus malt flavor. Fairly hoppy with a decent finish. An average IPA.
