Nice aroma, with the house hops of SA. A week head. A short taste. hennes (934) - Fountain, Michigan, USA - MAR 4, 2002
I prized a bottle of this from a dusty corner of my favorite beer store, but was a touch disapointed. They went for balance and lost in the hops department. Still, a decent brew. omhper (25134) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2002
Amber. Sweet, hop dominated, rather malty, bitter. A little one-dimensional perhaps.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2004 Best before date Feb 2002, drank on 2/7/02: A slightly below average IPA. It is styled between a west coast and an English IPA, but lacks the finer points of either. darkvibe (68) - Rochester, New York, USA - FEB 1, 2002
I like this beer. It could stand a little more bite though. It’s a little bland.

A very strange apricotty/ citrus malt flavor. Fairly hoppy with a decent finish. An average IPA. bhenry76 (101) - Landenberg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2001
An excellent beer....however, could stand for a bit more hoppiness. RicktheBassAleDrinker99 (6) - USA - DEC 19, 2001 does not count
