Decent citrus nose, quite light body and dry finish. It isn't a bad beer for a nice warm day.

Bright amber color with gold highlights. the body is topped with a medium thick head that leaves plenty of lasting lace. Sweet yet bitter and slightly fruity aroma with a hint of flowery hops. Slightly sweet and bitter hop flavor with a slight malt background and a hoppy finish. light to medium bodied, bitter and slightly dry.

Pours a nice, clear, copper color with a medium, off-white head. Not much aroma, I detected more malts than hops. Medium bodied with very little hop flavor, which is not typical for an IPA. Starts off malty and finishes malty with just a slight hop bitterness. An average, drinkable beer, and probably true to the English style of IPA, but not as hoppy as I like them.

IPA's have a distint, mature taste.. this was just distintly NASTY.. i love RED HOOK ipa, but hated this one.. maybe it was just stale..

Decent brew from the BBC. A little light on the hops and seems almost British. Finishes a bit thin.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2004 A nice amber beer with a small beige head. It has a fruity ale type aroma combined with notes of grass and hops. And a typical ale fruity flavor with a fine bitterness. It’s not as bitter as other american IPA’s - I like IPA’s more bitter than this.

Light hops in the nose. Deep, gold, complex malt shows restrained fruit with dry English hops. Not a typical American IPA--no citric West Coast hops and not the intense focused bitterness you'd expect. Rather, British fruitiness and extremely dry bitterness coming in very late.

Less hoppy than most typical american IPA's. Malt sweetness and bitter finish was suprising tho. This is a Craft brew!!?? Extra points for that. Good job David! Great IPA intro beer.

Nice aroma, sweet and flowery. Hazey ruby copper hue. Head is mostly lasting, suprisingly. I lost faith in Sammy A. a while ago, but perhaps i was wrong. This brew is actually intrigueing. It tastes like a real true IPA. Not overly hopped. Excellant hop aroma, excellant malts all the way through. And a clean, balanced finish. Nice body, not overly complex, crisp and refreshing. I actually like this brew. Surprised and impressed.

Rather tame IPA...............................................
