Bottle at home in CT - picked up at Stateline, pours clear copper with a creamy, off-white head. The nose has ripe melon, orange, some pine. Medium sweet flavor with crackers, lightly toasted malts, some dry caramel, ripe orange, citrus rind, light leafy and piney bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with sweet, bready malts, a bit more caramelisation of the malts, mild pine bitterness, some earth, alcohol, orange rind, grass. Not bad but perhaps a little faded.

Bottle. It pours a more or less clear body, dark golden in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is a bit boring, especially considering its an IPA. Bready pale malts, pine cones and resins. Its full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with flavors of pale malts, some bready notes and a fine bitterness. Long, bitter finish with some pine cones and lemon peel. Overall, quite boring, but its certainly a decent beer. 130216
