Had this at our second annual Easter Beer Hunt. I really liked the flavors. Very similar to Yazoo Hop Project. retinadoc (243) - - MAR 17, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2015 About as good as it gets from a bottle. Pleasant aroma. Beautiful reddish brown color. Full, hoppy flavor, without being overly astringent. Mildly sweet. Slightly lingering finish. Rich mouthfeel. Tastes richer and stronger than average beer, without being overly hoppy or having gratuitously high ABV. badpuppy69 (330) - orange, California, USA - FEB 26, 2013
UPDATED: APR 6, 2013 Poors a copper color off white head with very nice lacing. Aroma is very hoppy citrucy piney and floral very nice aroma. Taste is hoppy bitter citrucy piney and resiney and has a smooth medeum mouth feel. Very surprised how good this is! And the hops lingeres on the palet for a while. This beer is lagit! Hahahaha! This one really grew on me! Epic realm! SPDickerman (1315) - Texas, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Pours orange copper with a small white head. Smells of citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is bitter, lightly fruity, and light on the citrus with a solid sweet malt backbone. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Samuel Adams Latitude 48 Mosaic IPA finishes with a soft, gentle bitterness. MetalNHopHead (2191) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - JUN 10, 2014
My experience with the Deconstructed series has been extremely positive. While not all of the beers were as satisfying as I’d like, all of them has taught me something new. It turned out that Mosaic was an excellent single-hop IPA to go out on. It taught me a great deal about this variety and was tasty as well. Pouring a golden orange color and with a nice layer of suds, Mosaic gave me the intense fruity note I was expecting, but there was also a smell of grass, bready malt, and a musk that reminded me of marijuana resin. The flavor proved to be equally complex. At the front of the mouth, the smooth malts worked in tandem with the flavors of grapefruit rind, lemon zest, and orange peel to create a bitter/sweet balance. The brew’s grassy notes (both of them) dominated the finish with flavors of sweet earth. Finish is spectacular - crisp, clean, abrupt, refreshing. Mosaic gave me more than I expected. It was every bit as flavorful as I hoped but more complex than I’d imagined.

Samuel Adams Deconstructed series. The best of the batch! Regardless of brewer, you cannot go wrong with the Mosaic hops. A flavorful, hoppy beer with a hint of grapefruit. arnold931 (1264) - Iowa, USA - AUG 3, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear dark amber with just a little head. The label on the bottle says it all. Nose is nice pineapple. Taste is pineapple and mandarin orange. Pine bitterness in the back end. wlajwl (7069) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Aroma is citrus, malts and a strong hint of hop resin. The flavor is citrus, fruit, biscuit malts, hop resin and a bitter and very dry finish. dwyerpg (6410) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 19, 2013
Lots of fruity hops in the aroma, but the flavor is a bit more complex. The fruity hops and bittering hops battle to a weird tie, though the finish is quite bitter and dry. Pretty good, but not great.
