Slightly hazy gold pour with a thin, creamy, soapy white head. The aroma is loaded with sage, some coriander and cereal grain, mostly just the sage, though. Flavor is again pretty strong with the sage, but some more earthy spices come through, some coriander, floury grain, light citrus, spicy and floral hops and mineral notes. LIght, off dry body, with a crisp to slightly chalky feel and moderate, somewhat sharp carbonation. I actually enjoyed this beer more than I thought I would. The spice additions really add an interesting depth, and although they seem to overpower the rest of the beer, they are pleasant, sort of comfort food like. I think this beer would make an excellent pairing for roast poultry (especially turkey), or pork. It would probably be a good marinade base for those as well. Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with medium frothy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is orange peel, sage and rye. Medium mouthfeel with light rye flavor and citrus with light spicy finish. Decent.

Intense herby aroma bringing thyme and rosemary to the nose. Moderate gold with no foam. Flavor follows nose. Thyme and herbs dominate on the palate.
