Woof. You like coriander? This is the beer for you. The nose and flavor is just so dominated by spicy coriander that is just barely palatable. Sure its "ok" and I do like coriander but it is way overdone in this beer. The rye is not especially noticeable, it has the typical zesty wheaty witbier flavor, and touches of citrus but not a lot. topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - JUN 18, 2013
Pours golden with a thin layer of white bubbles. Aroma is spicy sage and coriander. Flavor is sweet with lots of sage and coriander. Lingering spice in the finish. Braudog (6835) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUN 18, 2013
Bottle, my third from this summer beer case ... none of which have floated my boat. But this one is at least quaffable. Light golden, active, but with absolutely no head. The coriander dominates the aroma in a big way. But this drinks like a light, made-for-the-masses Witbier knockoff, as easy for a Shocktop drinker to drink as that ... Wouldn’t seek it out, but better than the other two I tried tonight. (#5060, 6/18/2013) Beerathon (1681) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Foamy white head with slight lacing
Huge spicy nose (sage for sure)
Flavor- spicy and a bit earthy, maybe spruce?
Interesting take on the style daniellunsford (105) - - JUN 17, 2013
Pours a hazy gold showing a small unfiltered affect with a small head leaving light lacing. Aromas of clove, wet earth, coriander, and sage. The sage and coriander really come out in this brew. Finishes with an herbal sweetness. One of the best Sam Adam’s I’ve had in a while.

hazy gold pour with a quick white head.
aroma is spice ginger, sage and corriander. hint of pepper and light banana wheat
flavour is much softer on the spice than I expected.
Nice wheat and light corriander, sage and hint of rye. Not bad. Skazoo (7) - - JUN 16, 2013 does not count
Summer thirst quencher. Orange peel is very prevalent. Would not go out of my way for this beer. gregwilsonstl (2661) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Lots of flavor. Coriander and orange. kinda spicy. Bread. The rye is an interesting touch. hotstuff (5258) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Rated on 6-13-2013 (Bottle) This beer pours a small white head that mostly diminished, no lacing, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, hazy body, and a straw hue. The Aroma is malty, orange fruit, sweet, earthy, spicy, coriander, and citrus. The Taste is sweet, malty spicy, citrus, and light rye. The Palate is smooth and this is a light-medium bodied beer. Overall, this beer is quaffable, a session beer, needs more flavor, and is somewhat a summer thirst quencher. However, this beer did not leave me wanting more. Decent wheat beer. The coriander and sage are pronounced. Fairly sweet Light yellow color with some haze.
