Golden orange. A little sweet and heavy for the style, but pleasantly slow. Fruity and yeasty, even a little malt driven with a nice spice.

Drake (14045) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 16, 2017
12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Milwaukee. Clear golden, medium creamy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of strong yeast and spice, bready malt, grass, plum, bubblegum. The taste is yeast, bubblegum, spice, a bit of tart citrus. Medium bodied, lingering spice. Decent.

nuplastikk (6373) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 24, 2017
12oz bottle. Sort of thick, big, hefty, malty for the style. Really shares little similarity with classic Saisons other than that they both utilize Belgian yeast. Some light banana and bubblegum esters. Drinkable, smooth for the ABV. Doesn’t really nail the style but an OK beer overall.

Meh. Drinkable at best. Aroma wasn’t bad. A little sweet with mostly saison yeast. Pour was a hazy burnt orange with a thin white ring for a head. Taste wasn’t very good. Way too sweet and strong. Sweet syrupy light malt with ueavy yeast. Carbonation was gone a quarter of a way through the beer leaving the rest tasting like thick sweet syrup.

Pours gold into a Sam glass. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant trailing sheets. Mild caramel and pepper aromas. Sweet hot caramel and dough front to back. Mild bitter saison yeast finish. Rather sweet and one-dimensional.

wlajwl (6952) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Aroma is malts, sweet bread and slightly funky toffee/candy corn. The flavor is malts, toffee and a slightly funky sweet/grainy/hint of spices finish.

onceblind (10125) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 11, 2017
Clear deep golden with a thick foamy ivory head. Thin yeasty Belgian blonde grainy nose. Smooth Belgian grainy nose with a estery yeasty tone that’s slightly fruity and doughy. Pretty plain.

Beachmaster (576) - Oklahoma, USA - JUN 9, 2017
On draught. Pours a dark amber, with a small white head that slowly fades. Minimal lacing. Nose is malt and Belgian yeast. Taste follows. On the malty side for a saison, with noticeable esters on the finish. Doesn’t taste like a true saison. Just OK

jcwattsrugger (12506) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 3, 2017
12oz bottle-disipating white-gold. A-spice/slight pepper, some sweet lt fruit, lt malt. T-spice/some pepper, sweet lt malt-honey. Slightly slick mouthfeel upfront and mid palate. Seems to crossovert (:-) with some tripel characteristics.

3.6
nearbeer (5523) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 31, 2017
12 oz. bb. Sep. Clear brass-colored with a lasting thin disc of beady bubbles. Aroma is honey, white grapes, roasted maize and earthy must. Flavors of maize, rusty apple, scuppernong with the skin, wheat toast, pollen, bubblegum and white pepper. Medium bodied with medium CO2 and a little lean to the dry side.
