COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This enigmatic ale is a surprise for the senses, with its black color hinting at roasted malt and coffee notes, but its big hop character really stealing the show. Packed with citrusy and piney American hops for a big flavor and clean bitterness, this brew will keep you on your toes through to the last sip.

12 oz bottle: Aroma has a nice pungent, floral, citrusy hop texture with a slight malt backing and hints of other fruits. Appearance is an almost opeque black with a really thick tan head that lingers around forever. Taste is nice hop bite with a bit of somewhat roastiness on it malt is subdued but there in the backing. Somewhat of a hay texture, thick on the tongue with an aftertaste of hops and a slight burnt note. Overall, Nice. I liked it. Cheers!

Pours a three finger light tan head fades slowly leaving a good lace. Black color, no highlights. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Light pine hop nose, flavor is piney hops and a dry finish. $9.75 for a 6-pak from Bert’s Better Beers Hooksett, NH. Best by Sep 2011.

The rater before me is correct. This has been labled LongShot Blackened Hops. This is a really odd but enjoyable beer. Has a coffee aroma with sprinkles of orange peel and pine. A medium hop bite bitter finish with hints of chocolate (Dark).

sample, blind tasting, GLBN tasting. Called LongShot Blackened Hops. very solid beer. Bakers chocolate, coffe grounds, nice bitterness, darker cola color, balanced well done. One of the better of the style Ive had
