Bottle at Papsø.
Hazy amber coloured with a small white head.
Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, hops, pine needles, grass and fridge.
Sweet and fruity flavour of hops, grape fruits and pine needles with notes of fridge.
Dry hoppy finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 10, 2010
Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy amber with a dense off-white head. Aroma is massive hops - getting too astringent. Solid body, fruity and sweet, but it’s al just really a base for a massive and unrefined hop soup. Really crude and way too much. 100410 madmitch76 (24785) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2012

Bottle purchased in a Las Vegas liquor store. Hazy dark amber beer. Malty and rich hop nose. Sweetish beer. Rich marmalade hops with a nice floral tone. Lingering bitter aftertaste. A little different this one and tasty!
Tasting at PapsøOakes (17642) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 5, 2009
Hazy light amber color; medium sized creamy head. Large hop aroma, but strange, with a vein of of butter, cream, phenols, sweat. Quite strong body, but the mouthfeel is rather oily; sweetish toffee flavor, with oily hops, powerful. Not refined, but satisfying when looking for hops.
Amber, cloudy, vibrant. Looks nice. Herbal nose with slight papaya...light orangey notes. Minty, tobaccoey herbal hops, start woody and dry. The malts in this one are toasty initially with some residual sweetness in the back. The problem for me is that as this one warms those sticky, chewy malts become dominant. The beer quickly loses all semblance of drinkability. Disappointing. bhensonb (15187) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 15, 2009
Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours orange amber with a stiff off-white head. Laces somewhat. Very hoppy aroma. Seems quite mixed. Heavy on floral. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. There’s so much hop it isn’t worth describing. Decent malt backbone. So much fruit - citrus and other. It’s not at all harsh, and it’s very tasty. Mellow bitter finish. Bitter! Bottle poured a clear tarnished copper with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of pine resin, tangerine, orange Zest, light carmel and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of piner, grapefruit, orange zest and light carmel with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish. djd07 (14463) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 15, 2009
Bottle as shown. Pours a orange copper with a small off white head that leaves good decent spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong floral hops and citrus with pine and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel with the taste is very hoppy with grapefruit and pine with a very bitter finish. Alcohol very present with an intense flavor with all of the different hops coming throughout. A very impressive IIPA from Mike!
