Sample during the "Collaboration Beers On Deck 2!" event on 08/13/2017. Slightly hazy straw-gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of smoked malt, wheat and hops. Light-bodied with a mildly smokey character and notes of herbal wheat, fruit and mild hops. The finish is smoked malt and fruit. Decent overall. hopdog (13267) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 23, 2016
12oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a white head. Stale/dry wheat, some smokiness, and bread. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 25, 2016
Pours a golden orange with fluffy head. Aromas of citrus, coriander, and a touch of smoke. Saline to start with, then coriander notes and finishes with some tart. shigadeyo (3835) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 11, 2015
Light golden color, good smokiness and a slight fruity tang; light and refreshing, dry in the finish; probably the best of this year’s LongShots. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 19, 2015
Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor have some nice smoked and ash notes as well as some wheat and biscuit malt. There is also some light grass and a bit of citrus. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, citrus and light smoke. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat, earthiness, smoke and light citrus with a smooth dry lingering smokey finish. BVery (11461) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - MAY 27, 2015
Bottle. Hazy light orange pour. This is pretty straightforward but really good at the same time. Smoked wheat - that’s what it is. And I could drink a bunch of ’em. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - MAR 4, 2015
[Bottle] Pours a dirty looking golden color with a soapy head on top. Smokey aromas. Smoked grains, salt water, dough, peat, some citrus and cracker in the taste. Somewhat thin. It was OK in my book. If you liked this, the homebrewer that created it now owns Sketchbook Brewery in Evanston, IL and he expects to come out with a very similar beer soon. Tasting notes from 7/2014. Cloudy yellow pour with an off-white head. Aroma is light smoke, wheat. Taste is wheat and light smoke in the finish. Nice balance of smoke, not overbearing. Ok beer. drowland (9186) - Georgia, USA - JAN 21, 2015
12oz bottle thanks to cbfobes, June 2014. Hazy golden pour with a small off-white head, mild lacing. Smokey aroma, lightly fruity, just a slight hop bite, hardly there. Okay flavor, smoked wheat apparent, obviously, a touch on the sweet side, hardly a hop bite. Not bad.
