COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Caitlin DeClercq created her Honey Bee’s Lavender Wheat with dried lavender petals, giving it a fragrant but soft aroma. A citrus tartness and slight sweetness from the honey and vanilla balance out the finish in this California resident’s brew, perfect to sip while kicking back and relaxing.

12 oz. bottle from Capone’s. Pours clear canary with frothy white head that laces well. Nose is lavendar, citrus, honey, heavy black peppery florals. Tastes sweet, bready pale malty, with notes of honey, lavendar florals, spicy peppery, and hops. Very good recipe here, and technically sound, and I love the experimental factor.

Pours a two finger white head fades quickly leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Light flowery nose, flavor is fruity tart with hints of honey. $9.75 for a 6-pak from Bert’s Better Beers Hooksett, NH. Best by Sep 2011.

Odd beer sampling. Golden/ yellow pour with a bread / honey aroma. The flavor was sweet, mild pine and yeast. It was interesting. I don’t this one won.
