Golden pour with a fizzy head. Aroma of lemon peel, malt and yeast. Flavor is similar. Not a lot of pepper, just a touch on the finish. Not a big deal. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JAN 2, 2011
Bottle @ Paul’s saison tasting. Golden pour with white head. Lemony citrus, pepper and other spice tones. Body lacking a bit, flavor leaves you wanting something more. Chapel (468) - Levittown, New York, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Long review short, it is a competent summer ale/saison with an interesting spice kick at the end. For some the spice may ruin the usual sunny citrus flavors of a summer ale, but perfect for the people who like new and interesting things. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 24, 2010
Bottle. Pours a bruin body with an off white head and light retention. Aroma of white pepper corns, light grass and citrus hop tones, and a hint of spiciness. A hint of lemon with a biscuit like malt tone. Light sweeter finish. Okay.

I sort felt like this tasted like the season I’ve used on fish....lemon, pepper with a fizzy carbonation. Actually liked quite a bit.

12oz bottle...and on tap at GABF where I met the brewer. The beer pours a clear golden color with a large white head and good lacing. Pretty nice aroma of sweet malt, funk, lemon, and pepper. The flavor is a little on the sweeter side, but not too much. Pale malt, funk, lemon, and black pepper. Not bad. Medium-bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Pretty good beer actually, which surprised me. JK (6240) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - NOV 20, 2010
I don’t taste lemon pepper. It is a light bodied saison. Quite sweet, with Belgian yeast and light citrus. I would like more flavor and aroma. Light haze in this gold beer. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - NOV 19, 2010
THOUGHTS: Very Belgian. Would have liked to see this one bottle conditioned. The pepper was way more noticeable in the flavor than in the aroma. A nice, refreshing beer for summer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a sparkling, medium golden with a large, white head that mostly diminished and left good to excellent lacing. The aroma was light to moderate light bread; moderate spicy yeast; light pepper, lemon and citrus. The initial flavor was sweet and lightly acidic; while the finish was moderate to heavily sweet and slightly sour with and average to long duration. There was lemon, malt, pepper, spicy yeast, honey, sugar water and floral hops. The light to medium body was a bit syrupy and then dry with fairly fizzy carbonation and a slightly chalky finish. Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is sweet of citrus, lemon, yeast, wheat, and a hint of bubblegum. Flavor is citrus, lemon, yeast, and some wheat up front with a finish of bubblegum and just a slight hint of alcohol. MrPickles (438) - Waunakee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 7, 2010
I went into this one with low expectations and was pleasantly suprised. Aroma off and seemed like a lemon soap. I was very happy with the clean crisp taste. Very easy drinking and this is far from my normally liked styles. Good brew!
