Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma is caramel and hops. Flavor is sweet caramel, grapefruit, lemon, turns toward a bitter lingering earthiness. raradel (343) - Atlanti Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 9, 2013
Pretty good double, wanted more aroma and body based on the flavor profiles and coloring. But for what it is it exceed expectations! maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUL 8, 2013
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear darker amber color with just a hint of red in there and a moderate cream-colored head on it. Nose hits you with just a hint of sweetness up front, with the citrus and piney hop character coming through afterwards. Taste is somewhat bitter immediately, but tapers off into a well-balanced bit of sweetness. Not a bad beer at all. mnmike (1086) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 7, 2013
My favorite bottle from this years homebrew six pack. Could use more aromas for me, but great blend of hops in the taste jeremytoni (3082) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JUL 5, 2013
From a bottle poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Hoppy malty flavor with a quick finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours a copper color with a thin cream colored head. Sticky lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, pine, citrus, and earth. Very earthy taste, dirt and leaves. Has a nice sweet caramel malt base balanced with pine and citrus hops. Some definite funk going on. Has some odd flavors. Very dry. Just not digging it. 12oz bottle. Pours a deep clear copper color with a finger of creamy off white head. Aroma is slightly boozy, with notes of caramel, and sweet citrus. Taste of toasted bread, and caramel malt. Notes of citrus, apricot, and pine. I'm liking the flavor way more then the aroma. Decent DIPA. marcus (10474) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Bottle from bhensonb. Pours reddish copper with a thick beige head and a citrus aroma. There is a sweet slightly smoky malt flavor with some grapefruit and an earthy finish. ICEatALAMO (1351) - Troy, Michigan, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Bottle. The pour is a murky dark orange/brown. The aroma is all hops. The taste is a refreshing hoppy feel. A very good blend of hops. Big hop taste, but very clean and smooth, finishes nice, not too much bitterness. scarletfire65 (1485) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 29, 2013
Bottle on the balcony. The aroma is pine, brown sugar, malt. Smells sweet. Over the top malty sweetness underneath, but very bitter on top, yields a nicely balanced beer. Nuances of sweet dough, resin, mellow citrus.
