COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zack Adamss Magnificent Seven IPA is described as a showcase of seven American hop varieties that impart a big piney and lingering resinous flavor. A true Imperial American IPA, this brew pours a rich bronze color. The slightly sweet malt character is pleasantly balanced by a pronounced hop bitterness with grapefruit, pine and earthy notes from the American hops. This medium-bodied IPA also delivers caramel, citrus, lemon and piney aromas.

Amber pour with a white head. Sweet, caramel aroma. Some bread, toast, and fruit. Orange peel, grass, and a bit of weed. Some pine and a light lemon note. The flavor is pretty "meh" as well. Sweet bread and caramel malt. Some orange, lemon, and pine. Fairly grassy, lightly bitter, and somewhat astringent on the finish.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma is resin/citrus/earthy. Near full bodied. Flavor is a definitely sweet caramel backbone, but theres a lot of earthy/resin hop to off set that. Dont know what happened to the citrus. Its really quite mouthsmacking. Finishes definitely bitter, but not absolutely dry. Really good ale.
