Amber pour with a white head. Sweet, caramel aroma. Some bread, toast, and fruit. Orange peel, grass, and a bit of weed. Some pine and a light lemon note. The flavor is pretty "meh" as well. Sweet bread and caramel malt. Some orange, lemon, and pine. Fairly grassy, lightly bitter, and somewhat astringent on the finish. bhensonb (15500) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma is resin/citrus/earthy. Near full bodied. Flavor is a definitely sweet caramel backbone, but there’s a lot of earthy/resin hop to off set that. Don’t know what happened to the citrus. It’s really quite mouthsmacking. Finishes definitely bitter, but not absolutely dry. Really good ale. Ratman197 (15109) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 1, 2013

Very malty dipa, has nice elements and it isn’t a bad eber really but the malt is almost savory and dominates the beer. Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 29, 2012
