3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a straw color ridden with chunky yeast particles. The head is a two finger white shade. It’s nicely creamy and retains acceptably. TONS of lacing on the glass, too. But still...the body’s a mess.
S: The strawberry notes come through strongly at first. When allowed to open up, slight (balanced) diacetyl and noble hopping comes through, as well. The first few whiffs, though, were ridiculously sweet - almost like it was a strawberry soda instead of a beer.
T: It’s got a little more balance than I expected. The first part is where the fruit qualities reside; after that, it morphs into a pre-pro pilsner, displaying notes of noble hops, biscuity malt/yeast, and mild adjunct. Some strawberry sweetness returns in the finish, a bit excessively at times. Nonetheless a successful warm weather refresher, nor does it strike me as being disgustingly artificial.
M: Not as dry as I like my lagers, but it’s a fruit beer. It could be a bit less cloying on the back end at least. Still, I like its drinkability. Completely under-carbonated, though.
O: On occasion, I’m a sucker for a good lager. And also on occasion, I’m a sucker for a good fruit beer. This fulfills both quotas reasonably well. At the end of the day, it’s rock-solid mindless refreshment, no more, no less.
Straw color with a moderate sized, off-white head that has a hint of pink. Near over-ripe strawberry aroma. Flavors of a strawberry pie just prior to the strawberries getting to ripe. Has many of the characteristics that I don’t usually like in fruit beer. 4/13

Pours a hazy golden color. Aromas of mild berries, wheat bread, and a touch of hops. Flavor is a nice balance of soft fruit flavor with malts and a crisp dry finish, but this one has a subdued flavor, not over the top. hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 6, 2015
12oz bottle. Poured a golden color with an averaged sized head. Strawberries were there, but more of an artificial strawberry juice. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - SEP 19, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a golden color with a little bit of an orange-red like hue. The brew is lightly hazed with many particulates floating about the brew. Upon pouring there is a one finger billowy white head that has a good level of retention slowly fading to leave a fantastic level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big and sweet. The sweet is a massive dose of strawberry taking on an almost strawberry jam like smell. While sweet, the aroma is very authentic of strawberry with no artificial smells. Mixed with this aroma is a little bit of biscuit and honey overall giving a fantastically strawberry shortcake like smell.
Taste – The taste starts out with a biscuity and quite sweet taste. The sweetness upfront, while composed mostly of strawberry, had other sweeter tastes of caramel as well. As the taste advances the caramel fades while the strawberry gets even stronger. With the increase in strawberry comes some flavors of a grassy hop and a little bit of lemon adding just a touch of sourness and bitterness to balance out the sweet leaving a nice taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium to slightly thicker side for a lager of 5.5 % abv with a carbonation level that is on the average side. The combination of the two are rather nice for blending drinkability, with the sweet fruitiness of the beer while still upholding the lighter malt and the little bit of hop that is there at the end of the taste.
Overall – I think strawberry beers are some of the harder ones to craft and this one is pretty good. It has a good showing of strawberry without being artificial or cloying in nature and still maintaining a good level of drinkability.

"Not a huge strawberry in beer fan, but they did this one a solid. Aroma and flavor are light, but full of jammy strawberry and just a touch floral. Not my cup of tea, but done very well."

Bottle courtesy of argo0, thanks! Hazy pale yellow color, white head. Aroma of strawberry juicyfruit. Taste is bitter fruit. Bad combo. arnold931 (1263) - Iowa, USA - APR 5, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear golden. Floaters in the glass. Nose is strawberry cream. Taste is strawberry cream candy. Lager sharpness. Better than I thought it was going to be. jandd1983 (4330) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - FEB 13, 2014
It poured a clear golden color with an off-white head. The aroma was of fresh strawberries. The taste was of malts and strawberries. Nicely done. OKplus (787) - Oklahoma, USA - JAN 18, 2014
A - Pours a honey golden color with an off-white milky cap. Good retention and lacing.
S - Strawberry candy aroma, strawberry wafers, fruit roll up, light grainy malts underneath,
T - Follows the nose with strawberry hard candy, sweet but not cloying, some grassy hops adds a light bitterness and there’s some tartness as well. Pale malts, are light and crisp. Finishes slightly tart with some faint astringency.
M - Light and somewhat creamy, good amount of stingy carbonation, light bodied.
Judging from the name I didn’t have high hopes, but this is better than I expected. This is more of a candy strawberry flavored brew. The candy fruit flavor is nice and not totally artificial. A descent summer brew.

12oz bottle (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 40°. Color is a hazy gold with a bunch of floaties, good carbonation and a small white head. Aroma is a bright strawberry scent. It has a lighter body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is a Kool-Aid like strawberry taste, a touch of grain and a dry finish. Overall its just ok, I like a good fruit flavored brew but in this the strawberry comes across a bit fake.
