Hazy amber color. Light German esthers, caramel aroma, light straws. Medium bodied, tired caramel, some vegetables; slighlty oxidized. Not impressive.
Light golden brown colour. A little toasty, caramelly, mildish bock. Mild toasty body. Some faint chocolate malt accents. Moderate body. Moderate sweetness. bhensonb (15208) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 15, 2009
Poured a nice amber with a decent beige head. Aroma mostly of caramel. Pretty full bodied with firm carbonation. The flavor is smooth, rich caramel with lighter dark fruits. I’ll buy plum and cherry. Finish is smooth and lightly sweet. It drinks amazingly well, and I think most everyone will enjoy it. Ratman197 (14842) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 7, 2009
Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of carmel, toasted malt, plum and a hint of brown sugar. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a smooth finish. Flavors of carmel, brown sugar, toasted malt and light fruittiness with a smooth malty finish. djd07 (14521) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 14, 2009
Bottle as shown. Pours a clear amber with a small light tan head that diminishes quickly leaving behind decent spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is malt and caramel and light fruit. Medium mouthfeel with a caramel malt with raisin with a nice dry finish. Hides the alcohol well making it easy to drink, a good dunkler bock from Sam Adams.
