COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Slightly hazy and fruity with a touch of lingering bitterness. Brewed with two hop varieties from New Zealand, Wai-iti and Nelson Sauvin, this pale ale has a hint of lemon-lime aromas and a crisp white wine character. Lychee and pear purees add a fruity, grape-like taste that balances the herbal hop notes in this juicy amber brew.

Draft. Amber pour. A sweet pale ale, has some fruit flavors, but just too sweet for an apa.

Medium orange copper color with a full white head. Smells like coffee for some reason. Tastes like cake. The puree is a nice touch. Definitely a dessert.

Odd but intriguing combo of ingredients...may have worked better for me but the light fizzy body was like most other SA beers...just lacking. Light fruity aroma and tart flavor of pear and lychee is refreshing and unique, but light, and seems at odds with the malts. Just not quite my thing.

Taps clear orange-amber with a nice buff head. Aroma delivers a strong note of sweet, tempting pear and undertones of malt and woody hops. Pear dominates the flavor while sharing the stage with fresh malt and a little woody hops. Mouthfeel presents firm body, lively fizz and a fresh pear finish. Pear up!

On tap at Sam Adams. Comes a hazy pale gold with an average white head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Taste is pears, tropical, and malt. Decent Pale Ale.

Draft at Whole Foods PM. Hazy straw pour with off-white head. Nose was pale malt, hops, mild pear and lychee. Hoppy and pale malty flavor, got more pear and lychee notes as it warmed.
