Bottle. Super dark thick pour with a huge head. Lots of gingerbread, nutmeg, with some chocolate on the taste. Very good! AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Black color with tan foam. Nice spicy gingerbread cookie, clove, nutmeg, allspice, chocolate, dark roast aromas. Smooth rich mouthfeel with soft co2. Gingerbread cookie, clove, nutmeg, allspice flavors with a rich, malty chocolate, dark roast base brew--very good arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Pour out of 500 mL bottle, dark thick oily black pour with nice creamy mocha colored head, lots of carbonation streaming at first but subsided. Aroma brought notes of nice ginger, cinnamon, chocolate, roasted malts, hints of earth, touch of grainy notes, tiny bit of cookie notes. Taste is basically a spiced stout, some fairly nice roast, coffee, and dark chocolate tones mix with some slight earthy ginger, cinnamon, and clove, some slight caramel, grainy tones, finishing fairly sweet but dries out with the roast at the end. The mouthfeel was pretty nice, but was just slightly lacking in depth. Very tasty, and no sign of the 9%. BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Dark obsidian pour with a small latte head. Cocoa, slight coffee bitterness and a nice combination of holiday spices. Flavorful, assertive but not aggressive. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger are all there. Caramel sweetness as well. Medium mouthfeel. Pretty solid! wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Bomber shared with my wife. Pours black. moderate brown head. Some lacing. Huge aroma of Christmas spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, etc.). Flavor is of chocolate gingerbread. Chocolate & spice mouthfeel. This is definitely a fun beer, but a bit over the top. It felt a bit forced.

Nice dark color with light tan head. Strong gingerbread smell, cinnamon, nutmeg. Spices come through the most in the taste and not very much sweet a little bitter. Not that much going on overall. Decent. Fits its purpose.

Poured from 22 oz. bottle.
Opaque, brown-black with enormous, creamy brown head that lingers quite a while, but leaves only fair lacing.
Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, roasted malt, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger.
Taste of dark roasted malt, dark fruit, dark bread, cinnamon, clove, chocolate and ginger.
Full body and medium carbonation.
This has elements of a rich, full-bodied stout coupled with a spiced Christmas beer. Unfortunately, they don't seem to blend well. It's like the beer was at war with itself.

22oz bomber from Spirits, I think. Poured a pitch black silky body under a huge thick dense frothy dark mocha colored head. Aroma is very much a gingerbread cookie, notes of giner, cinnamon, nutmeg, light toast and some maple syrup. The body is smooth and fuller with light carbonation and a lingering burnt aftertaste. Flavor of burnt toast, light spices, burnt dark chocolate and a hint of coffee bean. Nicely done and not over the top with the spicing. Baadnewsbear (17) - - DEC 24, 2012
Not much aroma, but I smell hints of cinnamon. The taste is great, I'm getting lots of gingerbread and nutmeg. The mouthfeel is medium and a bit sticky. Overall, very pleasant stout. Sweeter than I expected
