Bomber from Bevmo. Black upon pouring. Roasted coffee in the nose, along with a bit of spice. Flavor is roasty coffee of an impy stout along with a dash of holiday spice. Tasty brew with a full body and low alcohol.
2015 bottle. Killer nose, like a liquid gingerbread cookie just oozed into your glass, full of spice yet with strong mocha stout undercurrents. Pours a thick brown-black with a modest beige head and very little lace. Taste comes across appreciably restrained, the spicing apparent but not overwhelming on the palate. Instead, loads of anise and bakers chocolate are on the forefront, while the spices wait until the fade to make their presence fully known. A bit thin and cola-ish on the back end, with a growing sweetness that gets a bit medicinal as the pint warms. Still, not bad as far as gingerbread stouts go, and the ABV is well-hidden. Silky smooth stout . Very dark with a brief tan head. It does have a nice, subtle gingerbread flavor. A good holiday - winter beer . Cheers.

2016/12/02 - Pours black with a thick, frothy, tan head that quickly reduces and leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is heavy spices (clove, cinnamon, nutmeg), ginger, roasted malt, milk chocolate and light herbal notes. Taste is sweet chocolate, licorice, gingerbread, spices, herbal hops and roasted malt. Walnut brown color with a decent beige head. Aroma is spiced with cloves, coriander, molasses and chocolate malt. Dark roasted malt flavor with lots of herbal spiciness. Full bodied and thick with a long spicy finish. I couldn;t drink a ton of these but it’s not bad for an occasional treat..

Pours dark brown, opaque in the glass with ruby edges. OK head and lacing.
Aroma: appealing mix of gingerbread and dark roasted grains with a good bit of alcohol.
Flavor: largely follows the aroma, but less boozy and more ginger.
O: improves with warming.
Black pour with a tall, creamy brown head. Aroma is full of pie spice, some toast, mild roast and a hint of chocolate. Flavor is pie spice, licorice, roast, burnt sugar, chicory and a light lactose-like sweetness. Medium body, really creamy feel, light, blanketing, smooth carbonation. Good stuff overall, reall does taste a lot like gingerbread.
