This is my new favorite beer. To me, it’s similar to Bass Pale Ale which I have always loved. I only wish it was available year round. mek2j (5) - USA - DEC 25, 2012 does not count
Fav. beer out right now. Glad to see it all year and not as a seasonal. This is my 1st beer review so the comments are short. 12-25-12. SanfordBrewer (1574) - Sanford, Florida, USA - JAN 30, 2011

aroma: very floral and slightly citrus hops, honeyed crackery pilsner malt.
taste: lots of honeyed bready pilsner malt, loads of wonderful floral hops with notes of citrus and herbs (like laurel and bay), and some clean but detectable yeast character.
Both hop and malt profile are awesome, and perfectly balanced. delicate flavors, but cranked up. a beautiful showcase of german malts and noble hops. i generally don’t get excited about pilseners, but this is a perfect beer.
12 oz. bottle. Love this lager! Citrus aroma and brilliant citrus flavor. Wish this was a year round beer. Perfect clarity. furiousdman (12) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUL 8, 2010
What a surprisingly terrific beer. Boston Beer made this, right? The beer smells and tastes exactly like the smell released from a freshly opened bag of pellet hops. This is one of my favorite beers.

12oz bottle purchased as part of a variety pack at my local grocery store. This beer is rated in an English pint. SANP pours beautifully with a great lager hue of yellow, a large fluffy white head and little rising bubbles of happiness. The nose is reminiscent of a Kolsch but has a nice citrus and herbal hop aroma. It smells wonderful and refreshing. This beer has a nice soft body with a great Pils taste. I know, I sound like a Sam Adams commercial but this is a really great beer. I’m VERY happy with it. The finish is tasty and contains light grains and grass. One of my local favorities. Great hops (maybe sazz), good color, nice grassey aroma, clean taste and incredible after taste. For a macro, one of the best. dwissm1 (22) - Maryland, USA - MAR 23, 2011
Wonderful Pilsner. Sam Adams strikes again with a great beer, mass produced and CHEAP! If you want to please a crowd with good beer, everyone will enjoy, this is a good one. MetalNHopHead (1976) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Noble hops are amazing. They’re complex yet very approachable. This pilsener makes great use of them. It captures their sweet, fresh, and herbal flavors. The biscuit-like malts are a smart match. This is one of my favorite brews from Samuel Adams and, in my opinion, one of their best. Uglyradio (791) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - JAN 19, 2010
