COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The first thing you notice when pouring a glass of this seasonal beer is the color. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest has a rich, deep golden amber hue which itself is reflective of the season. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest is a malt lover’s dream, masterfully blending together four roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavors including caramel and toffee. The beer is kept from being overly sweet by the elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter’s heartier brews.

355ml bottle. Pours a transparent, copper/auburn with a half-finger, off-white head that thins to a film fast. Aroma is large with big notes of caramel, bread, hallertauer hops, and a touch of raisins, dark fruits, sweet potato, and spices. Taste is malty but balanced. A touch of caramel on the finish. Low-medium body and carbonation. Fairly clean in the mouth with a refreshing finish makes this very drinkable. Overall tasty and just what I’d expect from an Octoberfest beer. Probably would buy again next fall.

Pours light amber golden with a nice white head and an aroma of malt with a hint of caramel. Tastes of slightly sweet malt with a hint of caramel balanced mildly with hops. It’s medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

A bottle from Jasons, near NCCU. Aroma: a bit malty. Appearance: clear reddish amber, head dissipates to nothing. Palate: Medium-bodied and oily, average carbonation, predominantly bitter at the finish. Taste: medium bitter, some vanilla. Good value for money, markedly more flavoursome than the Boston lager.

One of the best beers I've ever had. I haven't had a lot of Oktoberfest beers but this beer In general is something I believe I could drink daily. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

De geur is helemaal niet goed. Mooi flesje. De smaak is niet zo slecht als de geur maar toch ook nog niet goed. Niet mijn ding
