COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The first thing you notice when pouring a glass of this seasonal beer is the color. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest has a rich, deep golden amber hue which itself is reflective of the season. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest is a malt lover’s dream, masterfully blending together four roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavors including caramel and toffee. The beer is kept from being overly sweet by the elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter’s heartier brews.

It may be hard to believe, but this little number tops the Beck's Octoberfest. Who'd have thought something this good came from America?

Right up there with Black Lager as my favorite Sam brew. Beautiful color, a tad hoppy that doesn’t ruin it and has went over extremely well when I offer it to guests. Ready for the fall to come back so I can pick more up.

2013 is one of the Best batches I have tasted to date.. The past 2 years have been average at best but this year it is outstanding ! Taste like sweet malt caramel, orange zest, dark fruits and toffee with a sweet spicy sticky fruit finish

One of my favorite beers. I look forward to its release every year. Poured deep red into a pint glass. Rich caramel notes and taste. Should have a higher rating. My favorite marzen

Another amazing beer from Sam Adams. May be a little early to start drinking it, but I'm wishing this heat and drought away with this great seasonal brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of the better Octoberfest varieties I’ve had. Not quite as heavy as some, but real smooth.

Creamy, malty texture. Rich, flavorful head. Sweet, slightly bitter flavor. Lighter in flavor than some traditional Oktoberfest beers. Incredibly tasty. A perfect fall beer.
