at the brewery in July 4th 2014. This is a dry stout with medium carbonation some sugar and roasted malt. I don’t particularly taste the oyster.good rich palate a little sweet. two7offsuit (448) - Massachusetts, USA - JAN 25, 2014

a style that is rarely seen. Overall just a lovely stout with hints of sweetness and a great finish matalec1984 (115) - Massachusetts, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Had on tap at Sam Adams brewery.
Very nice dark poor almost mahogany in color. Head was tan with a lot of small bubbles. Didn’t really appear like most stout heads I’ve seen.
Aroma was very nice, lots of chocolate and coffee notes. Seemed well balanced.
Taste was also very nice, chocolate notes were the star, with a light salty and brininess from the oysters right towards the tale end. While you can taste the oyster addition, it still comes across as a very chocolatey stout and is not over powered by the saltiness.
I know this beer can be tough to find, but I would def drink it again. halfonit (1372) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 21, 2010
On tap at Battleship Brewhouse in Fall River, MA. Pours a very dark brown, almost black color. Aroma is mainly of malts with very little coffee and sea water. Flavor is mainly of malts. There’s a little nuts, roastiness, oysters, or coffee present. The Harpoon Oyster Stout is much better. Swing and a miss by Sam Adams.
