This is a pretty good beer... more head than I was expecting. Aroma and flavor have definite hop and malt presence. A little sweet with caramel malt. 12 oz. bottle.

An okay pale ale. Light and mild. Grassy and a little bit musty. Citrus and pine finish. Tried for the first time in 2007.

From May 2007 Thanks to jwc215 for this brew! This pours from 12oz bottle(best by Aug 07) a clear amber gold with a very large head of foam that shrinks to a pretty solid layer with lacing and it lasts right to the end of the session. The smell is on the light side; I can just smell some hop presence. The taste has an earthy flavour up front followed by some sweet malt and some citrus hops midway through and through the finish but they are lightly done. Too lightly done for me, darn it.

12oz bottle from sampler. Pours clear golden-amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of orange and toffee. Flavors are grain, fruit, very slight bitterness. Balanced, mild finish. Fairly light style pale ale.

Pours clear golden with moderate beige foam that fades. Roasted and caramel malt in the nose with some yeast. Medium body, slightly slick, light fizz with a moderately long bitter finish. The flavor favors the malt sweetness, but there is a good hop bitterness in there.

Foam is somewhat tenuous. The aroma is a fine blend of malt, fruit, hops and nuts. It has a light fruit and nutty palate which together with a small hint of malt sweetness quickly taken over by a pleasant mellow hop bitterness. Can remind a lot about a good English ESB, but has the slightly more complex American and no pressing fullness of hops. It has a very dry finish, and long-lasting aftertaste.

a little thin, very average pale ale. there are better offerings out there, but it’s worth drinking...it just does nothing to separate itself from a large pack."

bottle. Golden with small head. Mild body with pretty weak English hops. I’m not particularly impressed. A bit below average.

Modest head that dies to nearly no bubbles. Initially light lace, then none. Dark gold color with a touch of green; slight haze. Pleasant floral hop aroma; Closer to the British style in the malt flavor. Slightly tart and quite dry. The hop finish is brief and not very pronounced. Good body with a high carbonation level.

5/29/2010. Light amber color with a white head. Malty aromas with light fruit, citrus and caramel. light hoppy flavors with malt and caramel mostly.
