July 12th, 2013 - The Porch Rocker is a beer with lots of natural lime zest decorating the aroma and to a lesser degree, the flavor. At first I thought it was the result of brewing a pilsener with a strong lime character, but once I referenced this brew on Ratebeer I found that there was some railer heritage in there as well. That explains some of the acidity and fruitiness, which expresses itself as a sugary key lime pie smell. The flavor is much plainer, and basically a sudsy, corny wheat beer with a touch of lime, but similar but superior to those lime infused lagers that appear on beer market shelves during the summer. hotstuff (5258) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Rated on 9-14-2013 at Fort Wayne, IN RateBeer gathering) (Bottle) This beer has a very small white head with a long retention, yellow body, very little carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is grainy, sweet, lemonade, and lemons. The flavor mimics the aroma. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is light bodied. Overall, this beer is lemon, lemon, and more lemon. Poured into a perfect pint.
3.25 A: Clear dark yellow color. Two fingers of frothy white head. Retention isn’t great, but a short ring of lacing is left.
3.25 S: Smells like ginger ale with lemon in it. This seems like something Budweiser would make. It doesn’t smell bad (just like Bud Light Lime), but it also doesn’t smell like beer (just like Bud Light Lime).
3.0 T: Again, this is ginger ale with lemon. Not bad, but not beer.
4.0 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation with a pleasant spritziness to it.
3.0 D: This is an alcoholic soft drink. That said, it isn’t really a beer, so I didn’t know how to rate it.

Initial burst of lemonade. Soft creamy thickness of the tongue. The lemon sweetness continues on the tongue through the swallow. Some will like this but not for me

This is pretty much a shandy. A little too sweet for me. On a hit day I would like it more.

Aroma is citrus, orange, grapefruit, coriander and slight sulphur. Taste is very light maltiness with slight citrus and grapefruit notes. Very pale bitterness, well balanced overall. Appearance is a clear straw/gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly. AleTheWay (2) - California, USA - NOV 20, 2014 does not count

Bright amber. Minimal head. Fresh lemon scent. Refreshing beery beveridge. Lemony. I guess it depends on your fruit likes. More beer and less silly than Beerita. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"This is the kind of beer that maybe I enjoyed a little more than the score would indicate, but I can’t see giving any aspect an 8. Liked the lemony fresh aroma, light fizzy feel, and fruity slightly tart flavor. This is simple and light, but refreshing and exactly what Id want when watching a summer baseball game. 2nd time not a charm. Medicinal lemon."
