Samuel Adams is currently in the process of brewing up a German style called radler. The name radler translates to cyclist, A 50/50 (ish) blend of beer and lemonade. (Like a shandy). Perfect for any summer day, Samuel Adams Porch Rocker was inspired by traditional Bavarian Radlers that mix beer with German-style lemonade. For our bright and citrusy Radler, we blended a Helles beer with lemon for a fresh-squeezed lemon taste, effervescent sweetness, and slightly tart, refreshing finish. A light malt character and hint of hops balance out this summer brew.

The best "shandy" style beer on the market by far. Fresh lemonade and malts on the nose. Tastes like legit lemonade with beer not beer "with natural lemon flavor added." I was really impressed. I know a lot of beer snobs like to hate on fruit beers but this was an impressive brew that was very refreshing and well made. Dont be a snob and step outside the urge to hate on fruit beer and youll see for yourself. This beer was delicious.

Delicious and refreshing. Light and doesnt leave an aftertaste. Will continue to enjoy as long as Sam Adams brews it

I love this beer. It's a shandy with more of a beer taste. I also like the bright flair to it. It's a beautiful light amber color and and you can even smell a little bit if that lemony aroma. Great beer for the summer and super easy to drink! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. A- Lemons, grains, corn. A- Golden color, clear liquid, white head. T- Lemonade, sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- A nice shandy. Probably one of the better one out there. Very refreshing and not too sweet or tart. A solid beer thats not too overbearing or artificial tasting.

This Porch Rocker . . . is really good!! It had a great look when I poured it into a pint glass. the aroma was inviting but not overwhelming. the big hook was the taste. This beer was truly meant for summer. it was an excellent pour that was matched by its flavor. it had a great fruity zip that was a perfect match for summer. the color was a perfect golden yellow. this is now on my list for summer enjoyment.

Yes, I know the word out there is that this ones basically the same as Leinenkugels Shandy. So what? No one said this brew was supposed to be earth-shatteringly new. Its just Sams take on a radler. That being said, this one is a very good for a warm late spring or summer afternoon or evening. This isnt boozy, but its not a binge drinking beer. This is one to sit, well, on the porch and enjoy. Lemony and just a tad sweet, but barely. Very refreshing.
