One of the few decent IPA’s you can find almost anywhere here on the east coast. Nice citrus aroma of grapefruit, lemon and orange zest. Hoppy without being overly bitter. Not quite ’West Coast Style’ but a decent attempt. themightyjag (634) - - MAR 31, 2017
355ml bottle from Tesco.
Small white head lasts well, good lacing. Clear amber body. Subtle pine nose, bread, biscuit. Flavour is grapefruit, a little pine, toffee, decent bitterness on the finish with lingering toffee sweetness. Medium carbonation, sharp on the tongue, a little creaminess in the mouthfeel. Very good. Daytona00 (165) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 26, 2017

Bottle @ Superbowl XLI. Clear bronze pour with a frothy head. Note of faded hops, light citrus, caramel and some light sweetness. tezarak (121) - Lengnau, SWITZERLAND - FEB 25, 2017
Poured from a 35.5cl bottle at home. Clear. Yellow-gold. Medium to low head. Good lacing. Salty and peachy aroma. Slight yeast flavour (possibly Belgium yeast). Mild sweetness, medium-low bitterness. Body is light to medium-light, watery, slightly oily. Dry and crisp. Lingering, mild bitterness. (I prefer IPAs over Double/Imp IPAs, but in this case - Samuel Adams Rebel Rouser Double IPA - wins hands down) downender (9003) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2017
Bottle from Asda. Deep and clear gold in colour, with a tight, white, head. Sweet, ripe cereal and tangerine fruit aroma, with a touch of citrus hop. Flavour was similarly sweet, with some dense and gooey malts, a hint of white pepper and crystallised fruits, leading to a dryish finish. A real mixed bag, with some nice parts offset by some flabby overly sweet ones. Ok.
