3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle -
Found in the Samuel Adams Summer Styles sampler pack. Another huge thank you to Boston Beer Co. for continually spreading the craft beer love and giving people the opportunity to try a style that they’d normally not try. This beer wasn’t anywhere close to being a quality Belgian saison, but so what. It was quite tasty, approachable and a good introduction to the style for new folk. The aroma had a phenolic yeast angle to it, slightly grassy, light citrus, wheat cracker and pepsper notes too. Wheaty flavor, with a hint of biscuit/doughy malts, grass and slightly earthy. Very nice, very enjoyable.
Straw color with a moderate sized, white head. Aromas of oranges, light spice, and grains. Flavors of pale malt, coriander, wild berries and orange zest. Another fruity beer for the summer. 3/11

Pours a hazy yellowish/gold color. Aromas of tart fruit, bread, hint of citrus. Flavor is malty/citrus. Leaves a yeasty orange aftertaste. Not for me. brandon1989 (712) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - JAN 29, 2015
Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is floral hops and also some sweet breadiness and malts. The taste is the same but also i pick up the lemon and other spices. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 27, 2015

"pretty nice flavors and aroma for such a light, sessionable ale. floral aroma with some citrus, honey, and spice (clove-like) and a similar flavor, with a touch of other light fruit as well. Not much aftertaste, but a pretty good summer brew." TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 19, 2014
Pours a golden color with white head. Coriander, funk, spice, and light fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a floral note. beerfest5 (1207) - Cloneen, IRELAND - FEB 17, 2014
Maybe the least remarkable Saison there is. This is what happens when a large brewer tries to make something for the masses that isn’t very easy to make. A dumbed down version of a style that combines elegance and effervescence when completed well, i.e. Dupont and Hill Farmstead maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 1, 2014
On tap at TJs on 05/07/2011. Mostly clear golden body with a large frothy white head. Sweet spicy and lightly fruity aroma with some caramel. Dry spice, grainy and fruit flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation. jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2013
(Backlog) Clear, orange peachy colored, with an ok off white head. The smell is perfume, light florals, lavender, and some wheat. Weaker in smell and taste than expected. The taste is rather bland for a saison, somewhat like a weak floral malt tea. Easy to dri
