Hazy gold beer, good ivory coloured head. Softish palate. Semi dry malt, quite strong. Only a trace amount of hops here and a tiny dash of bubblegum ester. Okay but a bit wishy washy.

Draught
Golden color, poor head, served in an icy glass (sic!). Poor aroma and flavor, have to wait a lot to find a light note of malt. And the final as well is not interesting.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2003 Light golden. Husky malt aroma, some fresh apple, hints of grass, wheat. Light pale malt notes, some grass. Sweetish (~18 IBUS), slightly honeyish finish.

Pours almost apricot in the glass with good citrus aroma emanating from the head. Taste is light citrus and grass. Rated 2/3/2000

A little on the weak side, even for a Kolsch. I was expecting something with a little more character. Gold color with a thin and quickly disspating head and lively carbonation. A little on the bland side but not too bad for spring/summer fare. I could take it or leave it the rest of the year.

Well this beer should be better than it is. Cloudy and blond with a light colored head. Has some hints of lemon and a tart weird finish. Not the best of beers.

"a bit lighter than what i usually go for, even in spring or summer, and i prefer Sam Adams Summer Ale to this one. Not bad, but pretty one dimensional light toasted malt, a hint of citrus hops."

Pours pale straw, with good head. Aroma of citrus, malt, and some hops. Tastes citrusy, with a smooth finish.

Not sure where I had this, but it’s definitely down in my notes. Average, not bad, but nothing special.

Of the limited number of Kölsch beers I have had - this is the best - just not a real big fan of the style. Nice golden appearance, decent head with lacing. Nice tart, hoppy flavor - probably very true to the style -just do not have enough expertise to determine. Has that same "buttery" mouthfeel that other Kölsch beers I have tried. Stays strong throughout - good finish.
