Samuel Adams® Summer Ale is an American wheat ale. This summer seasonal uses malted wheat, lemon zest and Grains of Paradise, a rare pepper from Africa first used as a brewing spice in the 13th century, to create a crisp taste, spicy flavor and medium body. The ale fermentation imparts a background tropical fruit note reminiscent of mangos and peaches. All of these flavors come together to create a thirst quenching, clean finishing beer perfect for those warm summer days.

Cloudy dark straw color with dense storming activity. Slightly frothy white 2 finger head that last for 5 minutes, making some average leggings. Flavors of caramel, wheat, sweet grains, corn, citrus, noble spices. Slick medium body with excessive carbonation. Light and short finish, ending with a roasted malty feel and a thick sugary syrupy feel. Overall I find this one not very well craft from the lack of intensity and balanced flavors. Overly sweet and feels adjunct.

An american, amber, unfiltered "summer ale" with white head. Aroma is a bit bad. Malt, cheese, phenol. Taste is bitter. Infected? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nose is malt and sick, with a touch of honey. I definitely get zesty fruit like lemon and lime. But above all honey is the main contributor. It is a well rounded beer with a nice lingering sweet aftertaste. Solid summer beer.

light sweet aroma, amber, hazy, white foam, light sweetness, lightly sour, light body, oily feel, light fruit finish.

Golden coloured and hazy. Has a white head, medium duration. Aroma is sweet, a bit oddly spiced. Sweet and mild.

TorbenJensen (1526) - Valby, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2016
Fine persistent foam. The aroma is a little citrus with a touch of sweet honey. It is a gentle American wheat beer, which has great malt fill with the typical freshness of the freshly-cut grains. Furthermore, it has a slightly sweet taste of honey, while taste is provided by orange zest and lime / citrus. It is a tasty and fresh wheat with the perfect name Summer Ale, for a real summer beer it is indeed. Hop bitterness is almost absent and does not contribute properly to highlight something special. Mouthwatering and easy to drink.

Bien. Mais pas mémorable.
