COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Summer Ale is an American wheat ale. This summer seasonal uses malted wheat, lemon zest and Grains of Paradise, a rare pepper from Africa first used as a brewing spice in the 13th century, to create a crisp taste, spicy flavor and medium body. The ale fermentation imparts a background tropical fruit note reminiscent of mangos and peaches. All of these flavors come together to create a thirst quenching, clean finishing beer perfect for those warm summer days.

jookos (6762) - FINLAND - AUG 10, 2016
bottle. Golden light haze. Dry honey on nose, bit grainy malty, some floral notes. Med light bodied, honey ginger, bitters, weak lime flavour. Clean, but a bit dull and not that smooth. Feels a bit watery at times even.

Somehow this one slipped through the cracks in terms of my rating, but, better late than never. Pours a hazy golden with a small fading white head that manages a good deal of stringy lace. Light citrus and wheat cracker nose. Pleasant balanced flavor profile with wheaty malt holding down the backbone while lemon zest and very mild spice creeps in. Finish is clean and ever so slightly tart. Easy drinking summer quencher.

Tap at First and Main. Pours slightly hazy yellow with below average sized white head. Taste is slight lemon and spice. As it warmed, more grassiness came out.

DraftDodger (1516) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2016
Copenhagen 31/7 2016. 33 cl bottle from Fakta. The usual fellow hailing with beer mug and some idyllic looking summer water (a lot of mosquitoes are possibly spawning there). Pours hazy pale yellow with high white head. Moderate lacing. Settles as dense 1 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is fruity sweet and pleasantly lemonadelike. A little citrus and a little orange - quite tart. Strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is a short medium sweetness followed by a more pronounced tart bitterness. Aftertaste is rather short and quite tart. Not very complicated but refreshing with a tart twist.

Flaske 0.33L fra Kilpis Finnland. Farge strågul/brun med hvitt skum. Lukt gress, malt. Smak Malt, noe krydder, frisk i starten, noe besk i ettersmaken.

Flaske. Nu er jeg også lidt forudindtaget efter at have set en dokumentar hvor Koch opfører sig som et mensch. Duften er hyldeblomst, smagen er frisk og sommerlig med en masse hyldeblomst. Dejlig grill øl.
