They hit it out of the park on this one bravo sam adams Reddish pour with a tan head. Aroma is pineapple. Nice fruity hop aroma. Roasted malt aroma is present also. Nice ly balanced flavor, the roasted malt keeps the hops in check. A little dry aftertaste with some piney flavor. Nice lacing. A very tasty beer. Indra (2711) - Suburbia, Kansas, USA - DEC 15, 2011
22oz. bottle. Aroma of piney, earthy, spicy hop combined with notes of lightly sweet, toasted caramel malt and very faint red apple fruitiness, perhaps even some faint roast, but hops are really at the forefront here. Attractive clear deep red in color with a foamy, lasting, ivory head and very fine lace to boot. Flavor profile is rather nicely balanced throughout, with subtle dark fruit and pineapple tones, dark, toasty malty sweetness, prevalent leafy, spicy hop flavors and a moderately high degree of bitterness that is mostly apparent at the long finish. Actively effervescent and lightly resinous on the palate, body is medium-full. Very drinkable and tasty, once again I am a sucker for a nice hoppy Red IPA style. zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - DEC 15, 2011

Pours a beautiful dark red, with a nice head. Moderate bitterness when the ale hits your palate, very citrusy with strong flavor of sour grapefruit. The beer is medium to heavy bodied with a long bitter finish. Good IPA, but not for the meek, IBUs ? obguthr (6354) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - DEC 14, 2011
Cedar nose with subtle grapefruit hints, mainly woody. Crystal clear rust, thick yellow sticky head. Cherry and oak flavor. Well balanced, quaffable. A little piney in the finish. Well hopped, but not with the varieties I’ve come to enjoy in reds/imperial reds. Despite that, I enjoyed this quite a bit. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 13, 2011
Reddish pour, off white head. Lots of resinous hops and sticky toffee malt aroma. Flavor is much the same...a bit of diesel fuel...not bad. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - DEC 13, 2011
