COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This wily red IPA gets its character from the Tasmanian hops that are full of grapefruit, pine and earthy notes creating a bold flavor that threads throughout the taste. The hops are balanced by a core of roasty malts that give this brew body and richness with hints of toffee. This flavorful brew is rounded and smooth with a dry and citrusy hop finish.

Bottle courtesy of argo0, thanks! Dark and clear ruby color, large beige head. Aroma of light pine and furniture polish, not pleasant. Taste is licorice candy. Not my cup of tea.

mcberko (18434) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 8, 2012
Bottle at tasting, pours a hazy orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus hops and bread - very weak. Flavour is nasty and thin, with stale bread, flat hops and thin malt backbone. Perhaps a bit old here. Quite bad.

Oakes (18209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 20, 2012
Reddish-amber. Not much head the way I poured it. Vibrant, biscuity, toasty amber malts and bright (if subtle) tropical fruit hops. Bland palate but with some spicy hoppiness. Good balance.

Bottled @Stop&Go, Ponce, PR. Batch 2, 3.25usd! Dark copper-brown color, creamy beige head, lace. Bready, dark fruity, licoricey, slightly oxidiced. Medium-bodied. Licorice, oxidiced madeira. Earthy hops and caramel in the flavor. Bottle seems old but not hopeless. Aged quite interestingly.
