Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours cola brown with a dense, beige cap. Definite chocolate in the nose, with some other dark malt characteristics. Medium to heavy sweet flavor, rich cocoa, light roast, faint spiciness, dark berries. Medium to full in body with fine to average carbonation. Lightly sticky and warming finish, oily texture, some toasty cocoa, mild spice, burnt toast. Pretty decent. mcberko (18583) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 8, 2012
Bottle at tasting, pours a dark brown with a red tinge and small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, chili, and various other spices I cannot discern. Flavour is a delicate balance of chocolate and chili, with secondary notes of toasted bread. The chili overtakes this at the end, leaving a spicy finish. ABV is hidden. Not a fan of this combination of flavour, at least the way it’s done here.

The aroma is mild chocolate stuff. Light brown. Light chocolate on the palate, sweetish and relatively clean. Light chile in the finish. Bland, uninspired example. jtclockwork (17101) - , New Jersey, USA - NOV 3, 2011
Bottle. Pours dark brown almost black. Tan head. Nose/taste of cinnamon, vegetal chilis, cocoa nibs and caramel malt. The heat from the chilis is mild and melds well with the chocolate, cinnamon and caramel. Medium body. bhensonb (15621) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 17, 2012
