This one smells just a little too sweet for me. Pours an amber color with a thick head. Just a little sourness in this, like from citrus. Patrickctenchi (6591) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUL 24, 2012
Pours a murky orange-brown with a soapy off-white head.
Scent is salted, acidic, fruits...almost a yellow tomato aroma and flavour.
Not sour at all.....the salt sees to that....slight wheaty-ness as it warms.
Fairly good flavour, a little weak, but still, a nice different beer.
I found myself liking it more as it went along. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2012
From the July 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a golden-tan color with a small off white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was citrus, pepper and pineapple. The flavor was pepper, mango, pineapple, passionfruit, sugar, yogurt and yeast. The finish was long and tangy with lingering sugar, tropical fruits and pepper. Full bodied. Well done.

22oz bottle poured into a tulip. Batch #1. Pours a clear dark orange/amber with almost no head. Aroma of coriander, orange citrus and bready malt. Taste is light sour and light salty. Lemon citrus and salt, just as described. Medium bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, very good. I’ve never had this style, and probably never will again. Very interesting and another home run from Boston Beer Company. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Sampled on 6/9/2012. This gose pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a touch of salt and some orange. A medium bodied gose. The malts are fruity and sweet, with a touch of orange and orange peel. The hops are earthy. Decent balance. Nice carbonation. A touch salty and zesty, but mostly fruity and sweet. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a hazy reddish amber with a foamy white head and moderate lacing. Nose of wheat, lemon, and apices. Medium in body with a light smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is wheat and lemon, along with those spice sin the aroma. Sour citrus finish. Interesting and easy drinking. . pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - JUL 17, 2012
Aroma: Lots of earthy yeast aromas, with hints of cooked vegetables.
Appearance: Cloudy dark gold with a thin white head.
Taste: Immediate medium sourness which is quickly balanced by a light sweetness and finishes with a hint of saltiness.
Palate: Light-medium body, thin milky texture, soft carbonation, long finish.
Overall: I am very intrigued and caught off guard by this beer. There is a great complexity in the flavor that really works well, and no one taste is too overpowering. TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - JUL 17, 2012
Pours a deep straw, with a white head.
Fruity, spicy aroma, malt, caramel, toffee.
Dry, medium body, low bitterness, balanced CO2.
Spicy, slightly salty taste, malt, coriander seeds, apricot, caramel. Lacks the typical sourness I expect from a Gose.

I’m sure I’ve never had a gose before but mostly this tasted like a pretty good amber ale to my wife and I. Perhaps a bit salty and malty, it was easy enough drinking at the pool on a hot las Vegas day. jdleigh (53) - - JUL 13, 2012
Clear amber color, fine carbonation, delicate white head. Aromas are bready, yeasty, with slight fruit and pine notes, Flavor is delicate, balanced, with a lingering bitter finish. It’s cool that the folks at Samuel Adams did a Gose.
