Pour out of 500 mL bottle, clear orange pour with white head, aroma has notes of herbs, spice, salt notes, hints of biscuit, bread, yeast, some more salty notes. Interesting. Taste is sweet fruit, caramel, hints of fruity yeast, salty notes with a touch of grass and earth, very sweet honey and vanilla, touch of coconut, finishing sweet. Interesting but odd for the style. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 12, 2012
A - Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of sour and tart barnyard funk with some wheat, pepper, salt, and a touch of citrus and floral smells.
T - Starts off with a mix of tart and funky flavors with some light fruit, wheat, coriander, and a touch of salt. Through the middle, some light sourness starts to come through with some floral flavors and a bit of lemon zest. The finish is a mix of wheat with some barnyard funk, tart light fruit, lemon, and a bit of bready malt.
M - Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and tart finish.
D - Very drinkable. Interesting take on the style, a but a bit mild and watery. OmegaX (1374) - Florida, USA - JUN 11, 2012
Bottle to snifter. Pour is orange colored with a white head. Aromas were of lemon zest, spices, coriander, some light hop aromas. I also got a good amount of ripe citrus fruits from the taste with bitter pith mixed in. Some grainy malt and spices also played a part in making this brew up. Cherry notes. Not bad at all. Interesting. Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - JUN 10, 2012

Appearance - Bronze, soapy head
Aroma - Yeast, clove, basil, bread
Taste - Orange, peat, yeast, corandier
This was a nice and light brew with a really nice mellow fruit flavor. Light flavors of spices and bread make for a very session-able brew.
From batch no. 1, called Verloren Gose. Interesting floral and yeast aroma, with some brett. Dark gold pour. The bready taste is close to a wit or Belgian golden ale. Coriander, a little pepper and ginger. It is brewed with wheat and salt, but doesn’t taste salty. It is pretty dry and summery. Another interesting release from Samuel Adams.

had a sample at this at craft fest but then bought a bottle of batch #1 to do a rating. The color of this beer is the same orange and yellow of the label with barley a finger head and lots of visible carbonation. The aroma is sweet and hits you with that coriander and malt. This a a very sweet wheat beer but still oddly light. Normally i think of this level of sweetness with more high abv beers. The taste is sweet almost caramel and finishes with some sea water. Odd but cool to discover a new style. dfhhead25 (251) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2012
Aroma- sea salt, seaweed, fruity esters, funk, wet hay
Appearance- funky yellow with sediment and haze
Taste- initially very salty with a mild sweetness, flat thereafter
Palate- medium-body, feels nice in the mouth
Overall- First half of the bottle was pretty good. Second half was cloyingly salty and sweet. Unique but a one-off for me. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JUN 8, 2012
From a bottle poured a light brown color with a small amount of head. Light sweet malty flavor with a quick finish. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 8, 2012 22 oz bottle. Pours cloudy amber with thick off white head that yields sea foam lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, with just a hint of tart fruit and salt. Taste is sweet malt and salty red Twizzlers. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 7, 2012
Bottle. Light sour malt aroma with a hint of lemon and salt. Hazy golden yellow color with giant off-white head. Slightly sweet wheat malt and lemon peel flavor with a hint of salt in the finish. Light body. Decent - pretty light though.
