This traditional lager is brewed in the classic European style using only hand-selected noble hops and specialty malts. A generous portion of Vienna malt is used to impart a robust, malty flavor and a smooth clean finish.Brewed in the Sam Adams tradition of quality.

I really enjoyed this beer. Great appearance, nice pour and great taste. My only complaint was that it didn't finish too well. Excellent (except for the last swig).

VERY Good brew! Tastes like winter lager only without the extreme bitterness. Has a mild copper color as do almost all of sam adams beers. Medium Head which dies after about 3 minuites. Very sweetly flavored malts and yeast is also able to be tasted. Goes down good with seafood! If you see it buy it!

A huge surprise. This is a fairly hard brew to find, often sold in sampler packs, so I assumed it wasn't exactly the Boston Beer Company's finest product. Looking almost reddish in the wine glass I'm sipping it from (my mugs need washing) this Vienna is a remarkable pleasure to drink. I don't detect much hop action since the vienna malt does the heavy lifting. Loved it!

Bright amber body topped with a thick creamy head leaving plenty of lace. Sweet amlty aroma with slight fruity notes and a touch of sourness. Sweet malt flavor well balanced with hoppiness and a touch of sourness in the finish. Smooth and refreshing, slightly oily.

Another fine beer out of the pack.Nice aroma ,with a clear dep red color nicely balanced with a clean finish.to bad its seems that it doesn't come in a solo pack on it's own

Great crisp flavor, but needs a little bit more palate. Another good one in the holiday sampler.

Great job on a hard style. Actually different from the O'fest! Aroma is all toasted malt, backed by subtle noble hops. Flavor is great balance of malt and hops, again, noble (tettnanger). Tail just says "more, more, more!" Body is slightly above medium.

Sammy better put this one in the stable permanantly. An excellent drinking beer. Pours out to a bright amber in the glass with a fruit-like aroma. Taste is predominantly that of malt, but in a very good way. Rich and flavorful, with a finish that really brings out the malt. A very, very good beer.

I love Vienna Styles and for an American beer, I thought this was very tasty, and will buy as much as I can afford.

Probably my second favorite Sam beer just behing the Boston Lager. Incredibly smott and full of tremndous flavor. Not overly spicy or robust. Very smooth and drinkable. Beautiful reddish brown beer that is clear and crisp. Excellent lacing.
