Reviewed from notes: used to drink a ton of this when it was a spring seasonal. Pours a very hazy golden rod with white head. Spices, coriander, light fruit, wheat, and clove on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied and chewy. Bulk_Carrier (6064) - Vermont, USA - MAR 25, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was foggy, slightly golden colored body with a thin white head that only lasted about a couple seconds.
The smell had some hops, lemon, orange, tangerine combined in an earthy sort of way.
The taste was bittersweet through citrus and hops.
The palate was about a medium, slightly sessionable, citrusy aftertaste, sticky finish.
Overall, good for a witbier, uh . . . only decent to me, unsure if I’d come back to ....? brandon1989 (712) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - JAN 7, 2014

12 oz. bottle. Pours a light golden color with a small white head. The aroma is mostly spices, light caramel, wheat and some citrus. The flavor is pretty light; some spices, citrus, caramel and wheat malt. An average witbier at best. shigadeyo (3820) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2013

4/29/2011: Samuel Adams White Ale... Aroma: Plenty of wheat malt goodness spiked with yeast, clove, a touch of nutmeg, and golden raisin. Appearance: Excellent pour into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass... Cloudy golden color; ample carbonation; 2-fingers Fof dense, puffy, off-white foam that doesn’t dissapear. Flavor: Caramel-toffee wheat malts with a delicate floral and citrus hoppiness; lemon bar sweetness with a splash of orange; good spice level that contains cinnamon and clove, sweet orange peel, and just a bit of allspice dryness. Palate: Medium-bodied, with a good feeling in the mouth; smooth and plenty airy without being over done. Overall: Quite good and definitely under-rated; this is another solid offering from a solid brewery that sometimes gets too much criticism; I’d rather drink this beer over Blue Moon!
