Hazy gold pour with a 2 finger, creamy white head. Lots of cinnamon and nearly as much nutmeg in the aroma, toasted wheat, sweet, mellow citrus and a touch of bread. Flavor is sweet floury wheat up front, then strong, almost warm cinnamon, dried orange peel and a little earthy, spicy, nutty nutmeg to the finish. Light to medium body with a mostly neutral, somewhat syrupy and oily feel, light to medium, blanketing and slightly sharp carbonation. Not really my kinda thing, but not bad, I could see it going well with some winter festivities and some sweet dessert breads. resevil787 (123) - Arizona, USA - NOV 3, 2013
Bottle. Pours an orangish yellow, minimal clouding. White wheat. Aroma is very spicy for this style, so much so it’s hard to even classify it in this category for me. That being said- aroma is spices- nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, also oranges and lemon. Taste is sweet with spices. Very enjoyable beer. User134089 (1644) - - NOV 1, 2013

Poured an orange hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of off-white head. Sporadic spots of lacing along the sides of the glass. Average retention on the top.
Smelled a lot of different notes combined into one. Got orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread, molasses and even a bit of pumpkin. Some other wintry spices in there as well.
Tasted a lot like the smell, but a little lighter. Got orange peel, nutmeg, cinnamon, molasses, gingerbread, cinnamon sticks and honey wheat .
Light-to-medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish.
I really enjoyed this one. I’d definitely have it again. Just a lighter winter beer.

This bottled brew from a grocery store poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated transparent light yellow orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was musty mild malt and mild wheat. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish with a mellow herbal aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of semi-sweet mild lager mild wheat mild hops herbal and crisp. An OK brew just nothing special. Pinball (12598) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2013

Late rating. 12 ounce single bottle from Sam Adams Winter variety pack. Pours a light gold color with a small white head. Aroma of grain, citrus, and spices. Taste is citrus, nutmeg, cinnamon, and other spices. Too many spices in this beer - it seems like they tried way too hard with this. You can’t drink more than one of these in a row - the spices are overwhelming. tgncc (3144) - Bellmore, New York, USA - JUL 12, 2013
The aroma is sweet, fruity, coruander, spice. The appearance is hazy ytellow, white head. The flavor is same as the aroma. The fnosh is spice, coriander. Medium in body. Good. davidgris (15) - - JUL 4, 2013

THOUGHTS: Fine wit. I just don’t seem to get the Christmas part of it. Would make more sense if it was double wit. In its current form it would be a better summer beer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a murky, medium to dark, milky yellow with orange lurking around the edges and an average, white head that mostly diminished. The aroma had moderate wheat; moderate yeast; hints of spices and some citrus fruit. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and moderately acidic; while the finish was moderately sweet and lightly acidic with an average duration. There was wheat, citrus, both lemon and orange, and hints of spices. The light to medium body was sort of creamy and then dry with fairly fizzy carbonation and a slightly astringent finish. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Bottles. I really like white beers, and this was no exception. Malty, bready, full of hops and orange - taste is sweet and refreshing as well. Pretty good beer, I really liked it. Probably will be getting more of this come Christmas time.
