COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew that’s perfect for the season.

Bottle. Pours hazy-cloudy orange with a very small, fizzy white head, short to no retention or lacing. Aroma is orange, light caramel and toast malt, spicy wheat malt, cinnamon and nutmeg with faint earthy hops. Flavor is spicy wheat malt, spices, light citrus notes and a sweet finish. Light body and carbonation. The toast malt is problematic in this beer. Yuck!

Slightly hazy golden color with a medium foamy white head that evaporates steadily Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Citrus, wheat and spice in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy wheat, cinnamon and biscuit malt. The finish is sweet with a mildly spiced aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

"I dig the spices used here for a holiday ale, but question the use of them in a witbier. Especially the nutmeg seems to beg for a bigger more robust base beer. I don’t dislike it, but it’s a definite step down from the coffee stout it’s replaced."

Bottle. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Lemon and citrus peels, grain and wheat. Medium bodied, a touch of sweet lemongrass, a bit of spices. Lemony, almost shandy like. A bit sweet, easy drinking and tasty enough. Better than the regular Sam’s summer.

Bottle. Nutmeg, cinnamon and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large white head. Strong nutmeg flavor dominates with wheat malt, light cinnamon/clove. Bitter orange peel finish. Not bad - extra spicy.

Yellowish color with a white head. Lots of artificial flavors mixed in with wheat and yeast. Meh.
