pours like a summer wheat ale but has the aroma and taste of the standard Sam Adams Winter Lagar.

Looks like I liked this more than most. Pours cloudy yellow / orange with a large soapy off-white head. The aroma has lots of spiciness (cinnamon jumps out most), orange peel, smooth wheat, powder and an overall dryness. Medium smooth body with fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts with a gentle spice blend (lots present, but its not harsh) balance by rich smooth wheat. The finish has light plasticy taste, but not too big. Large amount of nutmeg and cinnamon that lingers. Nice unique holiday beer.
