2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
THOUGHTS: Fine wit. I just don’t seem to get the Christmas part of it. Would make more sense if it was double wit. In its current form it would be a better summer beer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a murky, medium to dark, milky yellow with orange lurking around the edges and an average, white head that mostly diminished. The aroma had moderate wheat; moderate yeast; hints of spices and some citrus fruit. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and moderately acidic; while the finish was moderately sweet and lightly acidic with an average duration. There was wheat, citrus, both lemon and orange, and hints of spices. The light to medium body was sort of creamy and then dry with fairly fizzy carbonation and a slightly astringent finish.
Cloudy golden to amber color with a modest off-white head. Nearly no aromas. Some white bread and hint of zest. No bad scents at least. Lightly sweet, with some wheat, little lime and hints of ginger and nutmeg. Simple nog beer. 11/12

Cloudy straw gold pour with two fingers of white head. Nose shows round sweet spice and subtle bready yeast. Nutmeg/ginger/cinnamon. Not terribly offensive in the flavor. Easy enough to drink. Spice profile could definitely be more aggressive. Glad it’s not....Medium body with a soft carbonation and touch of bite. Cajun (534) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - DEC 8, 2016
UPDATED: DEC 13, 2016 Bottle - Pours pale gold to peach, white head. Orange, grass, fruit make the nose. Flavors of light fruit, hint of lemon cough drops, spices, citrus peel, mild hops end. basaywhat (282) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - DEC 4, 2016
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a medium sized head that slowly dissipates, leaving a bit of lacing. Smell is of bready malts, holiday spices, some citrus, and some additional dark fruits. Taste is a nice combination of the aroma, very smooth in the mouth. Nice medium body, easy drinking, but flavorful.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2016 Bottle poured into my Weihenstephan glass. Orange gold color and a foamy white head. Aroma is cloves, coriander, wheat, lemon. Initial taste is wheat, pepper, spices, coriander. Aftertaste is dry with mostly wheat sticking around. Lively carbonation and a thick but smooth mouthfeel. This is a solid wit! It?s not revolutionary but it is better than a lot of their other attempts at the style. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - NOV 16, 2016
