Bottle. Nose is mostly citrus, but there’s an odd and discordant floral undertone -- almost like roses? Pours hazy gold with a high, lacy white head. Round and sweet on the front of the palate, but I’m still getting that weird rosy thing; it reminds me of scented toilet paper, for gods’ sake. Please don’t squeeze the witbier? Finishes long and that floral note hangs around and makes itself comfortable. Can’t get into this one. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 18, 2013
Answer to blue moon, took them long enough. It is less offensive than blue moon, actually not a bad take on the style, but it is completely unimaginative. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Yellowish-Orange hazy color with 1-finger head. I dig the orange and tangerine peel flavor. Oily mouth feel. Coriander in the nose with orange rind. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Bottle. Whiter colored pour with a white head on it. Nose is spicy with plenty of orange and coriander. Taste is sweet and smooth, easy drinking, crisp, no real hop presence, but still very good and easy to drink. Fredis23 (564) - Hickory Hills, Illinois, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Hazy Light Orange, Huge bubbly Head, Some Lacing. Nice Orange Aroma. Wheat Sour, Orange, Citrus. Although I like the style and this brew was OK, for some reason this and other recent Sam Adams Beers seem to be bland and Subdued. Not sure it that is how they come out or if that is how they are made to appeal to the masses. Wish they had more character and sharper notes. Decent.

Nice aroma of citrus, banana, clove, cereal grains. The appearance is hazy red/orange, white head. The flavor is sweet, citrus, banana, cereal grains. The finish is citrus, spicy, Medium in body. Not bad, good for this style. N3lson1 (1005) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - JUN 3, 2013
Sweet, orangey aroma, comes threw on the taste a little much. A decent White beer but defenitely beer Whites out there to enjoy. DiarmaidBHK (4907) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2013
Bottle from Wegman’s Williamsport. Pours yellow with a thin white head. Slight orange note on the nose. The spices and orange peel do come across on the tongue but as others have noted its a tad overbearing. Has a bit of the orange peel on the finish as well. Not my favorite of the style. thorongil2 (3088) - , Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2013
(bottle) clear golden colour with a small white head; aroma of jam, stewed fruit, hint of grain; refreshing flavour with long slightly bitter finish superspak (5603) - Michigan, USA - MAY 27, 2013
12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, best before August 2013. Pours hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, tangerine, orange peel, pear, coriander, pepper, wheat, light clove, and yeast earthiness. Ok aromas with solid balance of malt, spice, and yeast notes; but it is very weak. Taste of lemon zest, tangerine, orange peel, pear, coriander, pepper, wheat, bread, light clove, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of citrus, light fruits, coriander, pepper, wheat, bread, light clove, and earthiness on the finish for a bit. Nice and pleasant flavors with good balance of malt, spice, and yeast esters; with a fair amount of robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a slightly creamy and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very solid witbier. A little weak on flavors; but is well balanced and very easy to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.
