Bottle. Poured hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate yeast wheat and citrus aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind. beerdad (397) - Kansas, USA - MAR 13, 2013

Reviewed 2/16/13. 12 oz bottle into a nonic pint glass.
A: Pours a cloudy golden color. The head is a one finger eggshell shade with a very even, uniform texture. Lacing on the glass is somewhat low.
S: Quite grainy in its aroma - I’d surmise that the earthy qualities of the grains of paradise overpower the coriander spiciness and citrus qualities. The malts come off as being biscuity. As it warms up, the earthy grain quality subsides in favor of the traditional witbier elements.
T: It starts off with a strong lemon note to it, almost like lemon cake in a way. Earthy, slightly herbal spiciness finishes the profile off fairly well. I want to say there are slight touches of ginger and nutmeg hovering on the aftertaste, also. It’s not complex nor particularly interesting, but it’s quite solid.
M: At first, it starts off with a clean dryness; but the finish will gradually become slick and coating. Carbonation is high, but appropriately so. The body itself is full and semi-creamy.
O: I’m a bit pleasantly surprised here - I came in expecting to dislike it as much as I do the Summer Ale, but it’s actually decent. I don’t think I’d buy a 6 pack of it should they be made available, though. Ron (3997) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAR 13, 2013
Bottle. Pours hazy golden with long lasting, foamy white head. Aroma is of lemon zest, wheat malt and spices. Body is medium and crisp. A lot of spices, tangerine, citrus fruit and wheat malt fill the mouth. Finish is medium and spicy. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Alright, I received a twelve ounce bottle of this wit brew as part of the 2013 Samuel Adams "Spring Thaw" variety twelve pack - this is a pleasant yellow hued wit brew with a fine bubbled white head and malty, haylike aroma. It’s good, but not great.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a hazy light gold with a small and short lived white head. The nose has a good bit of lemon, light yeast, and light tangerine notes. The flavor follows suit with the tangerine taking the center stage. Light in body with a fairly clean finish. Solid and sessionable. Cybercat (5887) - Georgia, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Strong, malty aroma has a robust fruity overtone, mainly banana with some apple and pear, and yeasty and hoppy underpinnings. Pours a bright, slightly hazy solar yellow with a nice fluffy white head. Flavor does not quite live up to the aroma, but is still acceptable - fruity, malty, a little hoppy, hints of citrus and coriander. Mouthfeel is average in the body and fizz department. If not outstanding, still a decent and enjoyable brew. mcox90 (2095) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 11, 2013
12 oz bottle, part of the Spring Thaw 12 pack. Pours light yellow/gold with a one finger frothy white head. Orange zest in the aroma with some spice & wheat. Same in the flavor. Light bodied with a good amount of carbonation. It’s ok. bytemesis (8569) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAR 9, 2013
