COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian style white ales have a long history of unique ingredients, as brewers experimented with spices discovered during the spice trade. For our hazy brew we found a refreshing combination of crisp wheat, the tangy sweetness of tangerine & orange peel, and the subtle spiciness of coriander & grains of paradise. Cheers!

This is the beer blue moon wants to be. Murky amber color with no real head. Grapefruit and hops in the nose. Mainly citrus flavors with a hint of sweet fruit and a nice bit of refreshing hops. This is a solid beet that I am very satisfied drinking.

bottle. Golden with small head. Spicy wit. Quite a bit of coriander. Decent, but average.

Bottle. Light golden orange pour that is slightly murky. Small white head. This is a little bland overall - the citrus and spice character is somewhat muted and muddled together.

Decent. Gold pour with white head. Aroma of sweet orange and bread. Tastes like it smells, but is a little musty.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7694) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 5, 2013
After a number of pretty mediocre attempts as doing a Belgian Wit Boston Beer Company finally managed to pull it off. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy apricot color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish orange, honey and bread. The flavor was musty yet fairly sweet with notes of coriander, orange, bread, biscuit and honey. Long musty orange and coriander finish. Moderately full bodied. Well done.

Very sweet, light, and mildly fruity. Refreshing, little to no head but non-offensive, chill taste.

brokensail (16432) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Hazy golden pour with a big white head. Sweet bread, wheat, and a light coriander note. Mild lemon zest tartness, yeast, white pepper, and a weird sugar note. Very sweet flavor of bread, sugar, and wheat. Coriander, white pepper, and lots of citric tartness. A bit of orange, zesty finish, and overly sweet.

12 oz bottle from a mixed seasonal case. Pours a hazy gold color with white head that soon recedes to a film. The aroma is medium in strength with lemons, rock candy and spices. The taste, like the aroma, is big on lemons, but also present are some oranges and mild spices. Malt base is fairly neutral with just a bit of bread. The palate is silky smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes short. Overall: Its OK; nothing objectionable, but nothing to wow me either.

HighlanderOne (1315) - York, SC via NJ, South Carolina, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Poured from bottle. Nice fruity aroma. Cloudy gold, thin white head. Has all the right flavors - fruit, citrus, coriander, spice, pepper and yeast - but it is too watery and lacks depth. Would make a fine lawnmower beer tho.

Bottle. Lemon/orange, coriander and wheat malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large white head. Slightly sweet lemon peel, coriander, and wheat malt flavor. Low carbonation. Okay.
