COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian style white ales have a long history of unique ingredients, as brewers experimented with spices discovered during the spice trade. For our hazy brew we found a refreshing combination of crisp wheat, the tangy sweetness of tangerine & orange peel, and the subtle spiciness of coriander & grains of paradise. Cheers!

Bottle from Walmart. Spiced orange nose with some wheat. Grainy with some spiciness. A little bitter toward the end. Average white beer.

From the "Spring Thaw" mix pack. Cloudy orange, decent white head. Pretty typical for the style, I guess. Some yeasty notes, some wheaty notes, some spicy notes. Perhaps a tad overbearing.

The aroma is like dirty dish water with pale malt, some citrus and spice, and strange yeast. The appearance is hazy gold with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. I am not really a fan it has some interesting qualities but it smells off and just isn’t yummy.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Nose is peaches, straw, grass. Palate is very stingy, tongue lashing, with a light felt finish. Flavors of peaches, pepper, light spiciness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Karl Strauss pint glass From: VONS in Grantville, Calif. (San Diego) Price: $13.97 w/ card ($17.99 regular) for the Spring Thaw Variety 12-pack Misc.: Label said to enjoy before June Poured a golden hazy color with about a finger of off-white head that went away almost immediately. No lacing on the sides, bad retention on the top. Smelled the alcohol first, followed right away by cloves, icy sweet wheat, Cascade hops, citrus hops (tangerine, orange peel and lemon). Some unknown spices late. Tasted pretty close to the smell. Got that icy, tangy wheat up front, followed by a sharp, sweet Cascade hops. Still got the citrus notes, mainly orange peel, orange and tangerine. Light-to-medium body. Oily texture. Above average-to-average carbonation. Abrupt finish. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Not a bad beer overall. Really great for a warm summer day. Crisp, clean and refreshing.

Hazy yellow orange in the glass with thin white head, aromas of orange zest and lemon and a slight spiciness. The taste is all citrus with orange being dominant, very crisp finish. Overall tasty and highly drinkable.
